Kind words for unkind days

Download: Everyday magic planner

There are pockets of magic all over the place, but sometimes we have to look quite hard to see them. Especially when times are tough.

This planner helps us to plan in some little self-care things and things we enjoyed as a child. They can act as little lifts throughout the day, no matter how rubbish our day is. There’s also a space for a daily affirmation – to help us keep going when the naff stuff piles up.

As well as planning in some little lifts, our everyday magic planner also helps us to notice things in our surroundings. There’s space to note down a couple of observations and something we’ve learned during the day. It can help us to get out of our head and connect with the world around us, even for a moment. Sometimes all we need is one magic moment to make the day a little more okay.

What do people say about our work?

“Thanks Blurt team for putting a smile on the faces of those of us who sometimes forget from time to time”

In response to the newsletter: “I love this blog – thank you. I’ve been overwhelmed for some years trying to declutter after the death of my parents and moving into their already cluttered house at a time when my daughter was suffering badly with her mental health (and I was dealing with it all as a single mum).  I’m still very much stuck but I do like the thoughts your blog has provoked.  Taking action is especially hard as I’m not at 100% mobility yet after an op – and to cap it all, I’m a mindset coach and feel a bit like a fraud if I’m helping others to do what I can’t! Thank you. Best wishes.”

“Sent my first @BlurtAlerts #BuddyBox to my brother-in-law who had a miserable run up to Christmas. It was a joy to hear him laugh out loud as he was telling me about the pen! Thank you, the gift of laughter more than paid for the box.”
