Suicide prevention for young people up to the age of 35


A website and forum run by sufferers and past sufferers (survivors) of Post Natal Illness (PNI).


24 hours a day to provide emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of emotional distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide.

The new helpline number is free of charge and won’t appear on telephone bills either.


SANE services provide practical help, emotional support and specialist information to individuals affected by mental health problems, their family, friends and carers.

Shout is the UK’s first free 24/7 text service for anyone in crisis anytime, anywhere. It’s a place to go if you’re struggling to cope and you need immediate help.

If you’re experiencing a personal crisis, are unable to cope and need support, text Shout to 85258.

Once you text Shout you will be connected with a trained Crisis Volunteer who will listen without judgement to help you move from crisis to calm by texting back and forth, only sharing what you feel comfortable with.
