Coronavirus: Resources For Children And Parents

Suddenly having your children at home much more that we’re used to will take some adjusting. It’s only natural to feel a bit overwhelmed and daunted to begin with – especially when it falls to you to be occasional teacher, coach, activities co-ordinator and parent, all at once.

Try not to panic. There are hundreds of helpful resources, lesson plans, videos, games, printable, and ideas out there that can help. We’ve gathered these below.

Importantly, remember that, despite what you may see on social media, no family is doing this perfectly right now. There will be times of frustrations, of messiness and tiredness. It’s not just you, and it’s not the end of the world. You don’t have to be the perfect parent all the time, and it’s okay to look after yourself too. We’re all muddling through this together.
