It’s one thing hearing that self-care isn’t selfish and quite another to ‘know’ it. It can feel icky to change habits that might not have always served us in the best self-care fashion. It can be hard to care for ourselves when we feel unworthy of love and care.
An aspect of self-care that isn’t commonly spoken about, is solving problems and to do that we need to think outside of the box and come up with ideas – easier said, than done – we hope this Mapology Guide will help with that. We’ve included some beautiful Janelle Silver tattoos to serve as reminders to self-care and self-love, a sea salt hot chocolate to provide a moment of delicious calm, and then we thought we couldn’t really have a fish themed box without including some fish – we fell in love with both the soap and the socks, we hope you enjoy those as much as we do.
You can see what some of our Blurteroos thought of this fish-tastic care package below. If you want to grab a box for yourself – or a loved one – you can head over to our shop.

Sometimes we perceive that we have failed, but in reality it is normally things outside our control. Sometimes things that we plan do not go as we want. This months #blurtbuddybox was late by a few days but they told everyone and were open and responsive to comments/questions. We should all remember to be more open when things go wrong because the people around us will be supportive and not mean like we imagine! We should not be afraid of failure, it’s occurrence isn’t a reflection of who we are. Failure helps us learn and grow! . . .PS this box is amazing as always!! Look at those socks ? . . . . #wellness #selfcare #failureisnotfatal #keepgoing
#BlurtBuddyBox Day! As usual, this is completely perfect for how I feel right now, I’ve had a lovely time recently doing lots of things but it is also tiring, and I do want to sleep! You can’t go wrong with a hot chocolate (and if it’s too hot for that you can make it chilled – more on that in a bit) the tattoos are adorable and the zine and cards are always perfect 🙂 @jaynehardy_ @theblurtfoundation I know this month was a touch stressful but 1000% worth the wait and I hope you can practice what you preach and be kind to yourselves and still be proud of your magic boxes of hope and lovely-ness
It was such a lovely surprise to come home to find my Buddybox from @theblurtfoundation had been delivered. This month’s box is to remind us that self-care is not selfish. I love all the goodies and this month’s issue of Zine. I am ensuring that I am incorporating selfcare throughout my week. Thank you to the Blurt Team ???
